Verifying the code only proves the number is yours — it does not look your account up by name or email. That message means no OlympAI account is registered against that exact number. If you are creating an account, the app takes you straight to the sign-up form with the number already verified, so you will not be asked for a second code. I registered before. Why is it asking me to register again?

Signing in matches on the mobile number you enter and nothing else, so a number that is not on your account looks like a brand-new person. Usually it is one of two things: the account was created with a different number — often a parent's rather than the child's — or it was created before we started asking for a mobile number at all, in which case there is no number on it to match. Signing up again would create a second, empty account rather than reopening the first, so message us on WhatsApp at +91 93152 26356 with the name and number you used and we will look it up.

Which mobile number should I sign in with?

The number the account was registered with — that is the only thing sign-in matches on. One account holds one number and a number can belong to only one account, so signing up with a second number gives you a second account with none of the first one's practice history. If your child practises on their own phone, they still sign in with the number the account was registered with.

Where is the password field? I do not remember setting one.

Most people sign in with a mobile number and a one-time code, and never set a password at all — so there is nothing to forget and nothing to reset. If your sign-in screen does show an email and password box, that is how your account was created, and there is a "Forgot password?" link on that same screen.

I still cannot get in. How do I get help from a person?

Message us on WhatsApp at +91 93152 26356 — a person reads that number. Tell us the mobile number you are trying, your child's name and their class, and we will tell you what is on the account. Please do not create a second account while you wait; a second account starts from zero.

I registered, but I never got a welcome message. Did it work?

Yes — the welcome message and your account are two separate things, and right now our welcome message is not going out reliably. If you completed registration, your account exists whether or not anything arrived after. Nothing about a missing welcome message means your sign-up failed.

What should I do first, since I have not heard from you?

Sign in with the mobile number you registered with, pick your class if you have not already, open any chapter and read the notes, then try a short practice set. That is the whole loop, and none of it depends on the welcome message ever arriving.

Will I get the welcome message later, once it is fixed?

We are not going to promise a date for that here, because a support page is the wrong place to make it and then go stale on it. What we can say is that a missing welcome message will never be the reason you cannot use your account — sign in directly instead of waiting for it.

Which mobile number should I use to sign in for the first time?

The exact number you registered with — that is the only thing sign-in checks. If a parent registered on their own phone, sign in with the parent's number even if your child does the practising; if you are not sure which number was used, that is one of the two things +91 93152 26356 can look up for you.

The study buddy gave an answer, but it had nothing to do with my chapter.

The buddy answers from your own chapter notes first. When it cannot find anything in the notes for what you asked, it does not give up — it searches more widely and answers from there instead. That answer can still be correct, but it is not coming from your chapter, which is usually why it reads as off-topic. You can tell which one you got by looking under the reply: an answer built from your notes has source chips you can tap to open the note it used, and an answer that did not use your notes has none.

How do I get an answer that actually uses my chapter?

Open the note or the chapter first, and ask from there. Asking from inside a note limits the buddy to that material. Asking from the general chat makes it look across the whole subject — every chapter and every class — so a narrow question about one page can get crowded out by pages that merely look similar. This is a known limitation of the general chat and not a sign you asked badly. If a reply missed, the app offers a "Did OlympAI miss something?" card, and telling us there is the fastest way to get the gap filled.

Question 36

The buddy showed me a message instead of an answer. What do they mean?

"Take your best guess first — then I'll explain it." is not an error: on a practice question the buddy waits until you have answered, so put your answer in and ask again. "OlympAI didn't respond in time. Try again?" and "Check your connection and try again." are both worth one retry — the first has a Try again button on it. "OlympAI is taking a short break. Try again in a bit." means our side is busy and nothing is wrong with your account; notes and practice still work. "Hmm, that page isn't available anymore. Try opening it again." means the note the chat was attached to has moved — reopen the note and start from there. "This chat has reached its message limit. Start a new chat to keep going." means that one conversation is full, not that you are out of chats.

Question 37

It says that's it for today's chats. How many do I get?

There is a limit on how many buddy chats you get each day, and the app shows how many you have left before you reach it. A paid plan raises that daily limit — it does not remove it — so there is still a ceiling even on a subject you have paid for. We would rather say that plainly than have you discover it at the wrong moment. Please go by the counter in the app rather than any number written down elsewhere: the counter is the live one.

Question 38

The answer was wrong or unhelpful. How do I tell you?

Two things inside the chat, and both reach us. "Report an issue" asks what went wrong and takes a sentence in your own words — say what you asked and what it gave back. "Rate this session" is the stars at the end of a chat, and those are saved. If you would rather talk to a person, every reply card has a "Need Help?" button that opens our contact options, or message us on WhatsApp at +91 93152 26356 with the subject, the chapter and what you asked. Those three things are what let us check it properly.
