Is AI-generated practice accurate for children? How OlympAI checks its questions

AI can write a wrong question, so what matters is what checks it. How OlympAI grounds each question in an NCERT chapter, the automated checks every question passes, the blind answer re-solve on every sample paper, and the Report button — with no human review, stated plainly.

AI-generated practice can be accurate, but only as accurate as the checks behind it — an AI can write a question with a wrong answer key. At OlympAI every question is written for one chapter of your child’s NCERT book and must pass automated checks before it is served; every sample-paper question is also solved again by AI without being shown the answer. There is no human review.

Why can AI-written questions be wrong?

Because a language model writes what sounds right. It can mark the wrong option as the answer, write two options that are both correct, or refer to a figure the question does not include. None of these looks wrong at a glance, which is why checking has to be automatic and has to happen before a child sees the question.

What checks does every OlympAI question pass?

Every question is made for one topic of one chapter, with that chapter’s note in front of the AI, and only chapters with a finished note get questions. Before it can be served, the correct answer must be one of the options, a multiple-answer question must mark at least two, special formats must follow the paper’s fixed shape, and every formula must display correctly. A question that fails stays a draft.

Are sample-paper questions checked more strictly?

Yes. Before a sample paper is published, an AI solver works out every question again without being shown the answer key, and may say no option is right. If it disagrees, a second, larger model solves it again. If they still disagree, the paper is not published and the question is flagged. The paper is also checked for repeats, blank options, giveaway answers and anything that will not print.

Are practice questions solved again too?

No. Practice questions pass the automated checks above but are not re-solved; the blind re-solve runs on sample papers. That is one reason the app has a Report button on practice questions, and why we do not publish an accuracy figure we have not measured.

What should my child do if a question looks wrong?

Tap Report on the question — it is on the practice results sheet and the question screen — and choose wrong answer or question, confusing wording, or something else. The report is saved against that exact question so it can be corrected.
